Obviously bringing your skin-tone into consideration helps us determine whether you should lean towards more warm or cool toned shades. Us ladies with brown eyes are pretty lucky that we can wear most colours. I have put three of my most worn everyday quads into this post in the hope that it might help or inspire anyone else with brown eyes.
Having experimental playtime, along with researching which shades suit your eye colour the best can really help you to decide which eyeshadows should be incorporated into your MAC palette. This is where i think it is important to really experiment with a cheaper palette first to see which colours not only look the most flattering on you, but are also shades you would feel confident wearing. Most of us make the mistake of buying every colour of the rainbow, but not every eyeshadow colour is going to suit us or will be used. You need to decide if you are more of a neutral, cool-toned, or colourful eyeshadow kind of person. I'm very much a neutral eyeshadow lover but i do have a few pops of colour in my mac eyeshadow collection, in case i'm feeling a bit more daring. As mentioned briefly i feel the best way to start off making a MAC eyeshadow palette is to begin with a small quad, which is currently the the second from smallest palette that MAC does. Giorgio Armani Rouge Ecstasy Lipstick-review and s.Mac is a cosmetics company that sells pan version eyeshadows and they also have their own palettes.So here's my tutorial-please feel free to ask any questions of anything that is unclear! Please do be careful as not all Mac eyeshadows and blushers can be depotted as some are not housed in the metal pan inside the compact (for example Warm Soul mineralize blush is not in a pan as it is a baked formula). Mac also do a blusher insert for the palettes. Once you have your palette you can buy already depotted shadows from any Mac counter that just pop directly into your palette (you do not have to add the magnet, MAc has already magnetized the pan) Some people glue the pans into the palette-I prefer not to do this because if you want to switch the shadows around or when you finish a shadow it's difficult to remove the pan if glued in. Both is fine and this method works for both. I have purchased the inserts to hold the eyeshadows in all of my palettes but I know some people prefer just to place the shadows on the magnetic base without the inserts.
I have 3 of the 15 pan size Mac Pro Palettes and 2 of the smaller 4 pan palettes so I have done a lot of depotting and this method will have you depotting each shadow in just a couple of minutes.
